What is Scratchy Moments?
Scratchy Moments is a mobile app for couples built around 100 sealed date cards. You scratch one card at a time to reveal a date idea, commit to doing it, and save the memory in your scrapbook.
Do both partners need the app?
No. Scratchy Moments runs on one phone and keeps everything on that phone. You scratch together, hand the phone over when there is a surprise card, and fill in the scrapbook side by side. There is no account and no pairing between phones.
Does it work for long-distance couples?
It can, with one phone: scratch a card together on a video call and pick dates you can both do where you are. The app does not sync between two phones, so the deck and the scrapbook stay on the phone that has them.
Is Scratchy Moments free?
Yes. The app and your full personalised deck are free, with ads. Scratchy+ (monthly, or yearly with a 7-day free trial) removes the ads and adds photos in your memories, custom surprise cards and two jokers every month. The Spicy pack (18+) is a separate one-time purchase.
How is it different from a list of date ideas?
A list gives you choices; Scratchy Moments takes the choice away. The sealed card, the oath and the scrapbook turn a random idea into a ritual you both keep.
Is our data private?
Everything you put into the app (your names, cards, notes, photos and places) is stored on your phone only. There is no account, and nothing is uploaded to us. Free users see ads from Google AdMob, which asks for consent where the law requires it. Settings → Start over wipes everything.
